Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Night Warehouse Operative and become a vital part of our logistics and supply chain operations. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse activities during night shifts, ensuring the safe and accurate handling of goods. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth operations, support inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards throughout the warehouse environment. Responsibilities

Load and unload shipments swiftly and safely using appropriate materials handling equipment such as forklifts
Manage inbound and outbound shipping & receiving processes with precision and attention to detail
Use warehouse management systems to track inventory, update stock levels, and ensure data accuracy
Conduct mechanical checks on equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
Assist in organizing warehouse space efficiently to optimize storage capacity and accessibility
Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper lifting techniques for heavy loads and maintaining a clean work environment

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software is preferred
Mechanical knowledge or construction experience can be advantageous for troubleshooting equipment or handling materials effectively
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures ensures accurate processing of goods and documentation
