About the role
We are looking for an EMS Coordinator to support the delivery of Environmental Management System (EMS) services across a range of client projects.
The role will involve supporting EMS documentation and compliance activities for client sites operating under environmental permits, helping to ensure permit requirements are clearly reflected in site management systems.
This is a structured, office-based role focused on supporting the team with day-to-day project delivery, maintaining accurate records, coordinating information, and helping to keep client work organised and on track.
This role is well-suited to someone early in their environmental career who is organised, detail-focused, and looking to build practical experience in compliance-led work.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and updating EMS documentation
- Maintaining organised, controlled document sets across multiple projects
- Tracking actions, deadlines and outstanding information
- Assisting the team with project administration and deliverables
- Supporting continuous improvement of templates and processes
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a similar relevant subject, or at least two years’ relevant work experience
- Strong written communication and ability to produce structured documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Interest in environmental compliance and management systems
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Professional and reliable
