Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Goods Inwards and Despatch Coordinator to manage incoming and outgoing goods, maintain stock accuracy, and support quality and operational standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload incoming deliveries and check materials against purchase orders.
- Carry out quality inspections on received goods and record batch numbers.
- Prepare and load finished goods for despatch, ensuring all items are accurate and complete.
- Pack smaller items for courier shipment.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, reporting shortages as required.
- Keep the yard, stores, and loading areas clean, tidy, and organised.
- Support compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid Forklift Truck Licence or proven forklift operating experience.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
- Good attention to detail and ability to accurately check stock and documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to housekeeping and stock control.
- Experience with BS EN1090 standards would be advantageous.
This is a hands-on role requiring a safety-conscious individual with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and teamwork.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
