Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our vibrant culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Prior kitchen experience and a passion for food preparation are essential for this position.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
Cook a variety of menu items, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station throughout shifts
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently
Assist in meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
Support other kitchen staff as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs to management
Ensure all food is stored correctly and waste is minimised

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Previous experience with meal preparation, serving, or similar roles is advantageous
A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering high-quality food experiences
