Thameswood Vet Clinics is an excellent first opinion practice dedicated to providing high level veterinary care for dogs, cats, and rabbits. With locations in Swindon and Royal Wootton Bassett, our friendly and professional team is committed to ensuring the best care for our clients and their pets.

Summary

We are seeking a new receptionist to join our client care team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and offering advice and support for our clients and their pets while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Your contributions will help us maintain our high standards of care and service and further develop the practice. We are looking for an organised team player who will fit into our friendly team and has a drive to provide high levels of client care.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival at the clinic.
Manage phone calls and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain client records.
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's calendar.
Handling administrative responsibilities efficiently and working to deadlines.
Provide support to the clinical team and maintain good communication

Requirements

Proven experience in client care (min of 3 years)
Diploma in animal management or equivalent preferred
Experience working within veterinary profession or animal environment preferred
Strong organisation skills with attention to detail .
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy medical environment.
A passion for animal welfare and compassion towards people is mandatory

JOB DETAILS

This role can be a 3 or 4 day week 8.30am to 7pm , 1 hr lunch

With 2 in 4 Saturday mornings 8.30am-1pm, no bank holidays

Working at our main clinic on Purton Road in Moredon
