About the Role:
As a Jurassic Pier Performer, you will bring our prehistoric world to life through engaging character performances within our interactive dinosaur walkthrough experience. You’ll immerse guests in the story, create memorable encounters, and help deliver an exciting and entertaining attraction for families and dinosaur enthusiasts alike.
This role is perfect for confident, outgoing individuals who enjoy performing and interacting with guests of all ages.
Your Responsibilities:
– Perform as a themed character within the Jurassic Pier attraction.
– Engage guests through interactive storytelling, improvisation, and character-led experiences.
– Create memorable and entertaining encounters for visitors.
– Maintain character and professionalism throughout performances.
– Assist in managing guest flow and ensuring a positive visitor experience.
– Help maintain the presentation and atmosphere of the attraction.
– Follow show scripts, operational procedures, and health and safety requirements.
– Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the attraction.
– Adapt performances to suit different audiences and situations.
– Support special events, themed days, and promotional activities when required.
About You:
– Confident, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
– Comfortable performing in front of guests and interacting with large groups.
– Strong communication and improvisation skills.
– Ability to stay in character and create engaging experiences.
– Reliable, punctual, and professional.
– Comfortable working in costume and themed environments.
– Flexible availability, including weekends, school holidays, and bank holidays.
– Previous acting, performance, entertainment, or customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential.
