Job Overview

Location: KELVEDON, Essex

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Car Wash Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality vehicle cleaning services while delivering excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit.

Duties

Operate car wash equipment efficiently and safely to clean vehicles to a high standard
Assist customers with their vehicle needs, answering questions and providing friendly service
Maintain the cleanliness of the car wash area, including organising supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order
Drive vehicles into and out of the wash bay as required, ensuring proper handling at all times
Perform basic janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to keep the premises tidy
Monitor water and chemical levels, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
Uphold health and safety standards by adhering to operational guidelines and safety protocols

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred
Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or bending when necessary
