The Head of Creative will

Lead and shape the creative vision for The Jockey Club and our Racecourse brands, ensuring a distinctive and consistent brand experience across all channels and touchpoints.

Act as the visual brand guardian, defining, championing and protecting visual identity standards across owned, earned, paid and on-course assets.

Drive bold, innovative and commercially effective creative that strengthens brand reputation, deepens customer engagement and delivers business results.

Oversee all design output across the business, leading and inspiring the design team in partnership with the Head of Studio.

Translate strategic objectives into compelling creative concepts, campaigns and assets that stand out in a competitive market.

Balance creative leadership with hands-on design expertise, setting the standard for exceptional creative execution.

Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure creative work aligns with brand, customer and commercial priorities.

Develop effective creative processes, ways of working and technologies that maximise team performance and output.

Build a culture of creativity, excellence and continuous improvement, helping position The Jockey Club as a leader in sports and entertainment marketing.
About you

Lead the creative vision and strategic design direction for The Jockey Club, delivering impactful work that supports brand, customer and commercial objectives.

Champion and protect The Jockey Club brand, ensuring a consistent and compelling visual identity across all channels, campaigns and racecourses.

Lead and develop the Jockey Club Studio, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

Partner with the Head of Studio to deliver creative and operational excellence, taking overall accountability for the quality and direction of creative output.

Inspire, mentor and develop designers and studio team members, setting high standards and supporting growth, progression and performance.

Drive the development of standout campaigns, race day branding and major festival creative, providing final creative sign-off on key brand activity.

Challenge and refine creative briefs, transforming ideas into innovative, commercially effective creative that resonates with audiences and stakeholders.

Deliver exceptional creative across print, digital, social and experiential channels, while championing best practice, emerging trends and fresh thinking.

Build and enhance the reputation of the Studio internally and externally, ensuring high-quality delivery, effective collaboration and outstanding creative standards throughout.
