Full job description

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (The salary range reflects the average annual earnings, which includes the potential for bonuses and overtime, along with the current basic hourly rate of £15.80ph).

Working pattern: 45 hours per week; start and finish times vary. Overtime as required to complete daily tasks.

What the role is like

Our Driver role is incredibly varied, and the successful candidates will be asked to travel to different customer sites and Lemon depots. Therefore, the ability to be flexible and adapt will need to be demonstrated; no two shifts are likely to be the same and you may be asked to do occasional overnight work. You’ll be expected to have at least 1 year of driving experience, the right category on your driving licence and have your driver CPC. A current Hiab licence is essential.

In addition, you will work alongside the production team to meet company deadlines. A good ability to communicate and have a positive attitude is therefore essential. Being a driver will come with its challenges. You will be expected to assist with loading if required and sometimes will have to work long hours. Being resilient and having an understanding of the business will be key.
