Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Bookkeeper/Secretarial Assistant to support our administrative and financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for accuracy and organisation, looking to contribute to a professional environment. The successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping tasks, manage administrative duties, and utilise various accounting software programmes. Flexibility in hours and the ability to work independently are essential qualities for this position.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently
Support administrative tasks including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organising documents
Prepare basic financial statements and reports as required
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Provide general secretarial assistance to the team, including filing, data entry, and telephone support

Requirements

Proven experience with basic bookkeeping
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Prior experience in bookkeeping or secretarial roles is preferred
