Already on your SVN journey and looking for the right practice to support you? This could be the perfect fit.

We’re looking for a driven, passionate Student Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a full-time (40 hours) apprenticeship, working towards your RVN qualification via a College Diploma.

What You’ll Be Doing

Full-time role – 40 hours per week
1 day per week at college
The rest of your week gaining hands-on clinical experience in practice
Exposure across theatre, inpatient care, consults, lab work & more

Who This Role Is For

This is not an entry-level role; we’re looking for candidates already committed to the SVN pathway:

You already have a college place and need a practice or, you’re currently enrolled and looking to transfer practices

You’ll also have:

Previous experience within a veterinary setting
Animal management qualifications (or similar)
A clear understanding of the SVN role and career journey

We prioritise quality care over quantity, with 30-minute consults for complex cases and regular support from visiting specialists (cardiology, imaging & orthopaedics).

Salary:

£8.00 - £12.71 per hour dependant upon experience (Year 1 apprenticeship rate)

Increasing to National Minimum/National Living Wage (age dependent) after Year 1 (19+)
