Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roadsweeper Driver / Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, route driving, and operating various truck types. Experience operating a Bucher / Johnsons V65 truck mounted roadsweeper is essential.

Responsibilities

Operate roadsweeper trucks and related equipment to clean streets, building sites, car parks, and other paved areas effectively
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the equipment to ensure optimal performance
Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks
Load and unload necessary supplies or equipment as required for daily operations
Adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations while driving and operating heavy machinery
Assist with additional duties such as freight handling or supporting other vehicle operations when needed
Maintain accurate logs of work performed and report any issues or damages promptly

Skills

Experience operating a Bucher / Johnsons V65 truck mounted roadsweeper is essential
Valid commercial driver’s license & CPC qualification
Experience with manual transmission trucks and operating various vehicle types including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, roll-off truck, and tractor-trailer
Experience with left hand drive vehicles
Proficiency in truck driving, route driving, and delivery operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £15.50 per hour
