Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various on-site activities across diverse projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the construction industry, working alongside skilled Bricklayers and contributing to high-quality building works. Candidates should be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting with general site clearance, loading and unloading materials for bricklayers
Supporting Bricklayers with their tasks
Handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Assisting with the installation of brick and blockwork elements as required
Preparing sites by organising materials and ensuring work areas are safe and tidy
Assisting with site maintenance including cleaning and organising equipment
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

Previous experience in assisting bricklayers with construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with construction-related skills is desirable
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and understanding schematics will be beneficial
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the working day
Awareness of health and safety practices relevant to construction sites

The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality on site. All candidates MUST hold a valid CSCS card

Pay: From £17.00 per hour
