Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Onboarding & Compliance Assistant to join the personal injury team of our well-established law firm based in Leeds City Centre. Previous experience of working in a law firm would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
We are particularly interested in applications from confident self-starters who are not afraid to hit the ground running. Full training will be provided for this new and exciting role.
The duties will include but are not limited to:
Communicating with potential clients by telephone and email
Opening and closing client files, ensuring that all appropriate compliance and risk checks are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Processing client care
- Archiving closed client files
- Processing conflict search requests
- Processing client ID checks
- Maintaining key spreadsheets.
- Preparing reports, as requested for the Head of department and COLP
- Providing additional administrative support to the Personal Injury team as and when required.
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience of working in a customer support role is desirable
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven experience in an administrative role, demonstrating strong organisational skills
Ability to analyse information and solve problems effectively
Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner
- Excellent analytical skills
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent keyboard skills – RSA qualifications would be a distinct advantage but are not essential
Qualifications
- 3 or more A levels at grade B or above or acceptable alternatives
About You
- you should have 3 or more A levels at grade B or above or acceptable alternatives
- previous experience of working in a law firm would be an advantage
- previous experience working on a help desk/advice line.
