Full job description

Job Title: Auditor & Trainer Support

Reports To: Head of Business
Location: Various Client Sites

Start Date - asap

Role Overview:

The Cleaning Auditor plays a vital role in maintaining high cleaning standards across all client premises. This individual will be responsible for conducting regular audits to ensure cleaning tasks are performed effectively, safely, and in line with company policies and client expectations. Additionally, they will support cleaning teams with on-site training, guidance, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit & Inspection:

Visit client sites to assess and record cleaning standards and performance.

Check that cleaning equipment is clean, safe, and fit for use.
Ensure cleaning teams are following correct methods and safety protocols.
Verify that cleaning is performed in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Observe and report on stock levels, cleanliness, and any maintenance issues.

Team Support & Communication:

Liaise with on-site cleaning teams to offer support and gather feedback.
Resolve or escalate any concerns raised by the team.
Ensure staff have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to complete tasks effectively.
Deliver clear communication between staff and management regarding performance, issues, or updates.

Client Liaison:

Act as the professional point of contact for clients during site visits.
Address and record client feedback or concerns.
Ensure client satisfaction is upheld through consistent quality monitoring.

Training & Compliance:

Provide hands-on training to cleaning staff in line with company standards.
Demonstrate correct cleaning techniques and use of equipment.
Train and reinforce understanding of:
Colour coding systems
Product use per task
COSHH documentation
Accident and incident reporting procedures
Health and safety requirements
Monitor staff awareness and understanding of procedures and documentation.
Support new starters with induction training when required.

Organisational & Reporting Duties:

Plan and carry out audits based on site schedules and contractual requirements.
Maintain up-to-date records of audits, findings, and actions taken.
Submit reports to the office/management team in a timely and structured manner.
Report and escalate any urgent health & safety issues or compliance breaches.

Key Skills & Attributes:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to deliver constructive feedback and training clearly.
Confident working independently and managing a schedule.
Professional attitude with strong client-facing skills.
Knowledge of cleaning best practices and H&S regulations (including COSHH).
Basic IT/reporting skills for audit documentation.

Working Conditions:

Travel required to various client sites.
Work may involve early starts, evening shifts, depending on client needs.

Position can be very flexible Monday to Friday

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flexible working days 3 days - 4 days – This will depend on when you do the reports, if they're not done the same day, you will need to work an additional day to complete them, so self-managed.
12 – 16 hours a week TBC. No weekends
Times - predominantly between 2pm -9pm with the occasional early morning so flexibility is required.
£13.50 start rate will be reviewed after 6 months probationary period.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50 per hour
