Delta Academies Trust is looking to appoint a Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer to join the Trust on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September 2026.
As a Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and monitoring the Trust’s ICT estate, ensuring a reliable and efficient service for staff and students across the Delta network.
Working on the Trust Service Desk, you will provide 2nd line support and take ownership of one or more core systems, helping to maintain stability, performance, and continuous improvement across our infrastructure. You will primarily work with the central ICT team based at Head Office, alongside visiting academies as required based on priority. The ability to travel and work across the Trust is therefore essential.
You will be part of a growing, dynamic central ICT team made up of technicians, engineers, and support staff, all focused on delivering high-quality ICT services and solutions across the Trust.
Delta ICT supports 64 academies, delivering services to more than 32,000 users across an infrastructure comprising 500 servers and over 12,500 domain‑joined devices. Key centrally managed solutions include Microsoft Cloud, Cloud telephony, Cisco enterprise WAN/LAN networks, and enterprise-grade firewalls.
Our core team brings together a range of specialist skills, working closely with colleagues in academies to ensure they have the technology and support needed to succeed.
You will be joining an ambitious, committed, and hardworking team, passionate about making a positive difference to our young people, staff, families, and the wider community.
