Summary
We are looking for an organised, proactive and experienced individual to join our existing team as Educational Visits Co-ordinator and Careers Administrator. This is an important role within the school and offers the chance to make a genuine difference within a supportive school community where your input will directly contribute to student experiences, safe and effective practice and the smooth running of educational visits and a varied careers programme.
Working under the guidance of the Careers Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the effective planning and administration of educational visits, alongside providing high-quality administrative support for the school's careers and higher education/destinations programme.
The successful applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating the administrative processes that underpin educational visits and ensuring all visits are planned and run in line with school policies, safeguarding requirements and statutory guidance. They will also support the delivery of the school's careers programme, by providing a strong and effective administrative function.
The role will involve:
- Co-ordinating all aspects of educational visits administration and maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting the SLT Educational Visits Lead to ensure compliance with school policies, health and safety requirements and statutory guidance for educational visits.
- Providing administrative support to the Careers Lead, including organising careers events, employer encounters, work experience placements and visits from further and higher education providers.
- Administration of the UCAS process, providing support to students throughout.
- Maintaining accurate careers records and evidence to support the school's careers programme and the achievement of recognised quality standards.
- Liaising with staff, parents/carers, students and external organisations to coordinate educational visits and careers-related activities.
The school is extremely busy and this is a varied and demanding role that requires enthusiasm, confidence, attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and approachable manner. You will need to manage deadlines effectively, communicate well with colleagues at all levels and bring a positive, proactive approach to your work.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- 5 GCSE Level (5-9) or equivalent to include Maths and English
Desirable Qualifications
- Educational Visits Co-ordinator certification
Essential Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Educational Off-site Visits and the use of EVOLVE in the management of trips and visits or equivalent MIS systems
- Experience of planning and co-ordinating internal and external careers events, University open days, Futures day and other relevant events
Experience of working in a team to deliver a high-quality service in a school environment or other
