About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative, confident and ambitious Digital Content Creator & Brand Presenter to join our growing in-house marketing team.
This is not a traditional marketing role and it is not suitable for someone who simply edits videos or schedules social media posts.
We are looking for someone who can generate ideas, create engaging content, confidently present on camera, interview people, host podcasts, attend exhibitions and networking events, and help grow the public profile of our brands.
The successful candidate will become one of the public-facing members of our organisation and play a key role in increasing brand awareness, audience engagement and trust across multiple established online businesses.
This is a full-time office-based role working from our Blackburn office Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
About Our Business
You will primarily be creating content for DBS Check Online, one of the UK's leading DBS and pre-employment screening providers.
We help organisations recruit staff safely and compliantly through services including:
- DBS Checks
- Digital Identity Verification
- Right to Work Checks
- Pre-Employment Screening
- Workforce Vetting Services
Our clients include recruitment agencies, healthcare providers, education providers, charities, transport companies, care providers and businesses throughout the UK.
This role requires someone who can take professional service-based topics and turn them into engaging, educational and informative content that attracts attention and builds trust.
You do not need previous DBS industry experience, but you must be capable of creating content around professional services, recruitment, compliance, business growth and customer success stories.
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will become a key part of our marketing and business development activities.
This will include:
- Attending exhibitions, conferences and networking events alongside our Business Development Managers
- Creating content from roadshows, trade shows and customer meetings
- Conducting interviews with customers, partners and industry professionals
- Producing podcast-style content with colleagues, customers and guests
- Interviewing team members across different departments
- Creating educational, promotional and behind-the-scenes content
- Developing innovative content ideas independently
- Helping increase brand awareness across multiple businesses
- Becoming one of the public-facing personalities of the organisation

Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging video content for social media and marketing campaigns
- Present confidently on camera
- Plan, record and produce podcast content
- Conduct interviews with staff, customers and business professionals
- Film and edit content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Produce customer testimonials and case studies
- Create content calendars and campaign ideas
- Attend exhibitions, networking events and business roadshows
- Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns
- Identify opportunities to create engaging content from everyday business activities
- Support the growth of multiple established online brands
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 3 years commercial content creation experience
- Experience producing video content for businesses or brands
- Confidence presenting and speaking on camera
- Strong communication and interviewing skills
- Experience filming and editing professional content
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience engagement
- Experience using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva or similar
- Ability to generate content ideas independently
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred

- Podcast production experience

- Experience attending exhibitions and business events

Travel & Events
The successful candidate will occasionally attend exhibitions, conferences, networking events and industry roadshows throughout the UK.
All reasonable business travel expenses incurred whilst attending approved events on behalf of the company will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

Important
This role requires previous commercial content creation experience.
We are not looking for someone who simply records videos and edits content.
We are looking for a creative storyteller who can generate ideas, engage audiences, interview people, confidently present on camera and create content that helps grow professional service-based businesses.
If your experience is primarily limited to personal social media accounts, lifestyle content or basic video editing, this role is unlikely to be suitable.
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
