Content (Information Memorandum) Writer Manager
Location: Preston Dock | On-site | office-based | Hours: 36 hours, Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, alternating early finish over Thursday / Friday

About the role of Content Writer Manager
- Manage all Corporate Sales Process (CSPs) IMs from initial instruction to launch.
- Mentor and coach writers to overseeing their development and progress.
- Review all IMs written content prior to their release to business owners.
- Manage priorities for the team, reviewing high value instructions and troubleshooting any obstacles throughout the process
- Assist with any vendor challenges in the first instance, providing support should escalate to a compliant
- Provide support to the Research, Finance, Marketing and Sales Teams across the organisation
- Track, monitor and review all active IMs, creating timely weekly reports for board members and senior management.
- Create high quality content for Information Memorandums (IMs) and assist in the selling of Corporate businesses.
- Provide timely, accurate and actionable data and recommendations to support business decision-making with internal business partners.
- Receive and interpret financial information (including accounts), liaising with business owners on addbacks to compile an adjusted EBITDA.
- Review initial documents including appraisal information and discuss business appraisals (including price) with business owners.
- Additional ad hoc responsibilities as required
About you
- Strong copywriting and understanding of B2B marketing language
- Ability to read and understand financial information including adjusted EBITDA, addbacks and profit margins.
- Comfortable with use of AI writing tools to create standardised documentation.
- Accurate and with attention to detail, have the ability to work individually or successfully as a team.
- Comfortable engaging with clients and buyers over the Teams and telephone calls.
- Clear communicator, both verbal and written, using a concise and persuasive manner.
- Proactive and takes initiative, follows up on required documents to complete workload.
- Good problem-solving skills, able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Interacts professionally with colleagues and clients, building great relationships at all levels.
- Confident presenter, able to provide clear and concise updated to directors and stakeholders
Experience/ Skills for the role of Content Writer Manager
- Similar role content writing a B2B Level
- Financial literacy and numeracy skill
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines, KPIs and set targets.
- Managerial experience
- Customer Service deescalation
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Previous experience in similar role desirable
