Job Overview

Silentnight Brands – Barnoldswick

Join the UK's leading bed manufacturer and help keep our fleet moving.

Silentnight Brands is looking for an experienced LGV Technician to join our transport workshop in Barnoldswick.

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on LGV vehicles and trailers.

· Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.

· Prepare vehicles and trailers to MOT standard.

· Complete inspections in line with DVSA requirements.

· Maintain accurate workshop records.

· Minimise vehicle downtime while working safely.

Essential Requirements

· NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent (IMI accepted).

· Experience working in an LGV/HGV workshop.

· Competent in servicing trucks and trailers.

· Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

· HGV Category C+E licence.

· Flexible to work a two-shift pattern.

Desirable

· Experience working on DAF and Scania vehicles.
