Job Description:

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Butcher to join our team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality meat products for our stores across Mid Ulster. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, preparing, and portioning meat to company standards while maintaining the highest levels of hygiene, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cut, trim, and portion a variety of meats to company specifications
Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards
Support the preparation of orders for distribution to multiple store locations
Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards at all times
Monitor stock levels, manage waste, and assist with stock rotation
Ensure correct labelling, storage, and handling of all meat products
Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and well-maintained
Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
Provide support to the wider kitchen and production team as required

Requirements:

Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role is essential
Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
