This is a full-time handyman role, located on-site in Glasgow. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations and repair tasks at three locations; including equipment maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
You will be the primary point of contact for all maintenance-related inquiries, and will be responsible for overseeing our apprentice.
As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our properties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical and repairs.
- Handle general carpentry work, including minor repairs and installations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from the operations team.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialised repairs and services.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for members.
- Conduct prevention maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance where required.
Qualifications:
- Equipment Maintenance and preventive maintenance skills
- Maintenance & repair and troubleshooting skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in a facilities/property management setting is preferred
- Valid drivers license is essential and the ability to travel between multiple locations within Glasgow City & surrounding areas.
