Job Summary
The role of Workshop Assembler is to support the manufacture, assembly and supply of pewter photo frames, gifts and cards at Lancaster and Gibbings in Totnes. It is important that the successful applicant has a high attention to detail and produces goods to the highest finish quality.
Previous experience of stock level maintenance, and fulfilment of wholesale orders is preferable.

Key Responsibilities
· Carry out the planned work load
· To understand all aspects of skills required on production, for example assembling photo frames, using hand tools. You may spend a lot of your time standing while assembling and packing products.
· Produce finished goods with acute attention to detail
· Work proactively as a member of the team
· Operating equipment, for example, tablesaw.
· Assembling goods for example key rings and photo frames.
· Maintain stock levels to enable production to run smoothly from start to finish
· Monitoring the production process, in particular - quality checks of goods
· Storing goods and materials in an organised manner in the workshop
· A clear understanding of the process of shipping of orders for wholesale, domestic and international customers.
· IT skills to ensure accurate stock levels, and to enable the fulfilment and shipping of orders.
· Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery
Working hours, patterns and environment
The workshop is open Monday to Friday, working full time, your days are from 8-4pm, with 30 minutes for lunch. At times you may be asked to cover for Annual Leave or sickness.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
