About the Role
NG-ONE is looking for a confident, creative and outgoing Marketing Manager & TikTok Content Creator/ Brand Face to help drive the social presence of NG-ONE and our partnered event brands, including official events and partnered brands with headline acts, with potential for career progression to senior sales roles, with opportunities to develop skills within venue programming, venue sales and event marketing.
This is the perfect role for a student who lives and breathes TikTok, nightlife, music, events and social media.
You'll become one of the recognisable faces behind our brands, creating high-energy content that showcases our events, venues and experiences to Nottingham's student audience.
The role combines content creation, presenting, social media, event coverage and promotional marketing with opportunities to develop skill in event programming and venue sales, and plenty of freedom to bring your own personality and ideas to our content. The role includes progression to understand event programming, venue management and venue sales.
You'll work approximately 10–15 hours per week on average, with flexible hours designed to work around university commitments. Some evening and weekend work will be required around events.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging TikTok and Instagram Reels content for all NG-ONE brands.
- Become a confident and recognisable on-camera face of our brands
- Film content around Nottingham, university campuses, the venue and live events
- Create interviews, attend pops, event previews, trend-led videos and behind-the-scenes content
- Capture high-energy content during selected club nights and events
- Edit short-form videos ready for TikTok and Instagram
- Develop creative concepts designed to generate views, engagement and ticket sales
- Stay ahead of TikTok trends, sounds, memes and emerging content formats
- Help create hype around event launches, ticket releases, competitions and special events
- Work alongside our marketing and events teams on weekly content plans
- Encourage engagement with students and help grow our online communities
- Represent the brands professionally and confidently both online and at events
- Support promotional campaigns and activations where required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for personality as much as experience.
You should be:
- Confident, energetic and comfortable on camera
- Naturally outgoing and comfortable approaching and interviewing people
- A regular TikTok and Instagram user who understands what makes people stop scrolling
- Creative and able to turn simple ideas into entertaining short-form content
- Comfortable filming and editing content using a smartphone
- Familiar with platforms such as CapCut, TikTok and Instagram
- Interested in nightlife, music, entertainment and student culture
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving events environment
- Able to adapt quickly when trends or marketing priorities change
- Full of ideas and willing to experiment with new content formats
Previous professional content creation experience is useful but not essential. We're more interested in finding someone with the right personality, creativity and understanding of social media.
Hours & Contract
Zero-hours contract
Average of approximately 10–15 hours per week, although hours will vary depending on the events calendar and marketing activity.
The position is designed to be flexible around university studies.
Content may be created during the daytime, evenings and weekends, with some shifts taking place during live events at NG-ONE and partner events.
Pay & Earning Potential
£20 per hour
