Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Care Manager to oversee the daily operations of our home care service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a dedicated team of care professionals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while demonstrating strong leadership and management skills within a supportive environment.

Duties

Lead and manage the overall operation of our home care service , ensuring the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents, including specialised dementia and Alzheimer's care programmes.
Supervise and support a team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management to uphold high standards of care.
Oversee medication administration processes in compliance with legal and organisational policies.
Ensure all aspects of the service meet or exceed regulatory requirements and quality standards set by relevant authorities.
Foster positive relationships with service users, families, staff, and external agencies to promote a caring community environment.
Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resource allocation efficiently to ensure smooth operational functioning.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in service delivery and staff development through training programmes and leadership activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in a domiciliary care, home-care or social care management role in the UK
Demonstrable management or supervising experience within a home care setting.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices related to adult social care.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.
Strong organisational skills with experience in managing care plans, medication administration, and compliance documentation.
Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to engage residents' families and external stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent are highly desirable.
