Part time 22.5hrs (5 hours at 4.5 hours per day)

Summary
We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Early Morning Scone Chef/Baker to join our busy Pastry Team at Perrywood Garden Centre, Tiptree. Every morning, you will prepare and bake our famous Perrywood scones, which have earned an excellent reputation and are enjoyed by thousands of customers every year.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and baking our famous Perrywood scones each morning using established recipes.
- Producing the required quantities to meet daily customer demand.
- Preparing scone mix in advance to ensure smooth daily production.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Following food safety procedures, including stock rotation and accurate labelling.
- Supporting the Pastry Team with additional food preparation tasks as required.
- Helping maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
- Work with our talented Pastry team on development of new and interesting ideas

Requirements
- The right candidate will ideally have experience working in a busy kitchen; however, this is not essential and full training will be provided.
- Be comfortable standing and being on your feet for long periods.
- Be able to bend, lift and carry items safely as part of the role.
- Be able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Be committed to maintaining consistently high standards.
