Full job description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Hotel General Manager.

In this role you will be the inspirational leader and innovator who maximises the guest experience within the hotel. Using your expertise, you will monitor and drive our standards to efficiently capitalise on all revenue streams.

Being ultimately responsible for overall accountability throughout the Hotel, your experience working with budgets and forecasts, coupled with your superior attention to detail, will ensure the success of the business for years to come. This will also be demonstrable and easily conveyed.

As General Manager, you and your team will be focused on continually surpassing guest expectations to maintain our reputation in the market for both food quality and hospitality. Managing an established and experienced team, you will share your personal passion and knowledge to develop the team, encouraging personal progression and training opportunities

Responsibilities:

Establish guest checking procedures.
Ensure that all hotel policies are followed.
Follow health and safety regulations and procedures.
Enforce hotel policies.
Supervise housekeeping staff.
Manage and motivate staff by setting goals and objectives.
Maintain communication with guest services staff, public relations team, and other departments.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
