Full job description

In Charge Construction Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Approved Commercial Electrician to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of commercial construction, fit-out, refurbishment and maintenance projects, carrying out electrical installations, testing, fault finding and repairs to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out commercial electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
Install, test and commission electrical systems.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Ensure all work complies with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
Complete electrical testing and inspection where qualified.
Work closely with project managers, clients and other trades.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety.

Requirements

Approved Electrician qualification.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician).
Experience working within commercial construction and fit-out projects.
Strong fault-finding skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
IPAF.
PASMA.
