Part Time Barista

Symmetry Greek Cafe & Bistro is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Barista to join our team in Colchester.

We are a busy independent café serving quality coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch in a warm and welcoming environment. We are passionate about great coffee and excellent customer service, and we are looking for someone who shares the same values.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has experience behind a coffee machine and takes pride in preparing consistently great drinks while contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Preparing coffees and other beverages to a high standard

Delivering excellent customer service

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station

Assisting with day to day café operations

Supporting the front of house team and helping with table service when required

Working as part of a small, friendly and supportive team

Requirements:

Previous barista experience preferred

Good understanding of espresso based coffee drinks

Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

Friendly, reliable and positive attitude

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Cocktail experience is a bonus but not essential

What We Offer:

£13.00 per hour

Flexible part time hours

Additional Information:

Weekend availability is required, as Saturdays and Sundays are among our busiest trading days

Immediate start available for the right candidate
