Job Summary
This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring our customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience from browsing to delivery. You will work across platforms including eBay, Amazon, Shopify and the company website, maintaining our online presence, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Upload, update, and maintain product listings (descriptions, images, prices, and stock levels) across various online sales channels, ensuring accuracy and optimisation, including eBay, Amazon and Shopify.
- Ensure all online content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Monitor product availability and coordinate with internal teams to maintain stock accuracy.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via email, telephone calls, live chat, and social media.
- Process orders, returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently.
- Provide product* advice and recommendations to support sales and enhance customer experience. *product education will be provided
- Resolve customer issues professionally and in a timely manner.
- Process online orders and ensure all details are accurate.
- Liaise with warehouse and delivery partners to book and track shipments and resolve issues.
- Keep customers informed about order status and delivery updates.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors’ activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Support the team in organisational tasks ensuring smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Comfortable working with e-commerce platforms (e.g. eBay, Amazon, Shopify or similar).
- Basic understanding of online retail and digital sales processes.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple listings, customer queries and tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive, solution-focused attitude.
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic photo editing or Adobe Photoshop skills for online platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Confident using computers, spreadsheets and online systems.
- Effective communications skills in English.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Basic knowledge of SEO and product optimisation.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Social media or marketplace promotion experience.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
