About Softvize

Softvize is a fast-growing software development company based in Colchester. We build and run digital platforms - membership systems, payments, mobile apps, campaign and events tools - used every day by high-profile national organisations. We're a small, ambitious team, which means real variety, real responsibility, and the chance to grow with the company from day one.

The role

We're looking for a confident, organised Project Support Co-ordinator to be the backbone of our office. You'll be the first voice on the phone, the first face at the door, and the person who keeps support requests, projects, and client communication moving. You'll work closely with our directors, project co-ordinator, and development team, so you'll get genuine insight into how software is built and delivered - no two days will look the same. This role is 9:00am until 5:30pm - however may also include work outside of hours depending on client requirements.

This is an office-based role at our Colchester office.

What you'll be doing

Handling incoming software support requests - logging, triaging, and chasing them through to resolution with our development team
Managing tasks and projects in our project management software, keeping boards up to date and flagging anything at risk of slipping
Looking after clients day to day - onboarding, progress updates, and making sure they always feel well looked after
Front of house - welcoming visitors and acting as the first point of contact for the business by phone and email
Co-ordinating tasks and small projects across different areas of the business, and chasing actions through to completion
Managing shared inboxes and responding to emails promptly and professionally
Joining client calls - taking clear notes, capturing actions, and following up afterwards
Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and meeting notes, and supporting the directors day to day
Helping test new software releases and passing client feedback to the development team
Keeping internal documentation, guides, and records tidy and up to date
General office administration and anything else needed to keep a busy software company running smoothly

About you

Confident - comfortable picking up the phone, speaking with clients, and greeting visitors
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
A clear, professional communicator, both in writing and in person
Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software
Proactive - you spot what needs doing and get on with it without waiting to be asked
Calm under pressure, and trustworthy - some of our client work is confidential
You must have the right to work in the UK

Nice to have (but not essential)

Experience in a software, SaaS, or IT support environment
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Notion
Previous customer service, administration, or co-ordination experience
