Full job description

About the Role

GP Primary Choice are looking to recruit a full-time Clinical Services Administrator on a 1 year fixed term contract to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to our clinics. This is a key role ensuring the effective running of various clinics and carrying out administration tasks in a timely manner within target timeframes.

Duties will include:

Receive and greet patients who are attending the clinics in a polite and friendly manner
Manage the electronic booking system, checking patients in on arrival and registering them on systmOne
Telephone patients with the results/outcomes of their appointment
Support with medication requests and monitor reviews for patients
Provide administrative support in the event of an outbreak/emergency
Reception duties
Work with staff from external organisations to support effective joint working with partners
Liaise closely with members of the team ensuring effective communication

About the Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will require the following:

Good understanding and knowledge of a full range of administrative procedures and organisational duties
Good IT skills, e.g., how to use a laptop and office products
Excellent attention to detail
Understanding of SystmOne desirable
Experience in primary care is desirable but is not essential and will be gained on the job
Training on the booking system will be given
