Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispensing Optician Manager to join our independent practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with frame selection, and ensuring accurate lens fitting and overall store management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in a professional environment, supporting patients with their vision needs while working within a friendly and organised team.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting suitable frames and lenses based on their prescriptions and personal preferences
Take precise measurements of patients’ eyes and facial features to ensure correct fitting of spectacles
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments efficiently
Provide guidance on lens options, lens coatings, and frame styles to enhance customer satisfaction
Ensure the optical workspace is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Responsible for a team of 4 people

Skills

Fully qualified as a Dispensing Optician
No previous managerial experience required

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about eye care who wish to take a step up into management

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
