The Role
As a Client Manager (Technical), you'll manage your own portfolio of clients, leading the technical side of their R&D Tax Relief claims.
Working closely with a dedicated Client Manager (Finance), you'll become a trusted adviser to your clients, taking the time to understand their projects, innovations and commercial objectives before producing robust technical narratives that support successful claims.
You'll use your technical curiosity, communication skills and commercial awareness to deliver an outstanding client experience while embracing AI and technology to continually improve the way we work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing relationships with an allocated portfolio of clients.
- Leading technical discussions with engineers, software developers, scientists and senior business leaders.
- Understanding innovative projects and identifying qualifying R&D activities.
- Producing high-quality technical reports and eligibility assessments.
- Working collaboratively with Client Managers (Finance) to deliver accurate, robust claims.
- Using AI tools and RDA's proprietary technology to enhance quality, efficiency and client experience.
- Supporting annual client renewals through exceptional service and delivery.
- Contributing to continuous improvement across the Delivery Team.
About You

You'll ideally have:

- The ability to build trusted client relationships.

- A collaborative approach with a desire to continually learn and develop.
Experience within R&D Tax Relief is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with technical, engineering, scientific or software backgrounds who are looking for a rewarding client-facing career.
