Full job description

Job Summary

We are a busy Premier shop with a Post Office, and we’re looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to work in both the shop and the Post Office, serving customers and helping to keep the store running smoothly. We are also opening another post office near Shrub End within a year or less and will also have hours there then.

Key Details:

Part OR full-time position involving weekends, plus some evening and daytime shifts
Experience in working in a post office (including the weekly & monthly balancing) is essential
Good maths skills and computer literacy are essential to manage transactions confidently
Must be physically fit, as the role involves lifting stock and maintaining a clean, organised environment
Must be 18 years or older due to alcohol sales and able to commute easily to the shop

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
