Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly and efficiently.

Food Hygiene Certificate.
Bar experience.
Cocktail-making ability.
Stock management experience.
Team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including culinary, service, and administrative functions.
Supervise and train staff in food preparation, service standards, and hospitality practices.
Oversee food production processes to ensure quality and consistency in all menu items.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas.
Develop and implement effective strategies for team management, fostering a positive work environment.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maximise profitability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu offerings that reflect current trends.
Manage scheduling for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Desirable

Full UK driving licence.
Personal Licence Holder.
First Aid certificate.
Recruitment and training experience.
EPOS system experience.
Events management experience.
Budget and financial management experience
