Job Summary
We are seeking an organised, proactive Studio Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and efficiency of our creative studios. You will ensure our studio facilities and equipment are always production-ready, while taking full responsibility for stock control of props, equipment, consumables, and production assets. This role is critical to maintaining smooth workflows, high production standards, and cost efficiency in a fast-paced content creation environment.
Key Responsibilities Studio Management & Maintenance
- Oversee the daily operations and usage of studio spaces (photography, video, and multi-purpose areas).
- Ensure studios are clean, safe, and fully equipped for shoots and productions.
- Coordinate with the production manager on studio bookings, client sessions, and internal team usage.
- Manage set build, breakdown, and storage logistics.
- Support freelancers, crew, and technical staff to facilitate productions.
- Implement and enforce health & safety protocols, risk assessments, and studio best practices.
- Perform and facilitate routine maintenance on studio infrastructure, lighting rigs, backdrops, and facilities; arrange repairs or upgrades as needed.
Stock Control & Inventory Management
- Take full ownership of stock control for all studio-related items: photography/video equipment, props, consumables (gels, batteries, tapes, cleaning supplies, etc.), and production materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using digital systems or spreadsheets.
- Monitor stock levels, forecast needs, and place timely orders with suppliers to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Track equipment loans, returns, and condition; manage asset registers.
- Implement efficient storage, labelling, and retrieval systems to support quick turnaround times.
Team & Operational Support
- Support producers, and other production staff.
- Contribute to project planning by advising on studio requirements, timelines, and resources.
- Support budgeting for studio operations and stock expenditure.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and studio efficiency.
- Assist with client liaison during studio visits when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance requirements
Production Support
- Assist on all shoots either onsite and on location
- Prepare sets for shooting
- Breakdown and reset studio after shooting
- Prepare the products for shooting / Move from storage to set
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
