Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Lead for our Smokefree Homes programme.
The Smokefree Homes Programme Lead will lead the operational delivery, implementation and evaluation of the Smokefree Homes Programme across the 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Working as part of the Children and Families leadership structure and reporting to the Head of Service - Public Health (0-19 Years), the postholder will provide specialist leadership and programme management to strengthen smokefree interventions across Health Visiting, School Nursing, Family Nurse Partnership and wider children's community services.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
The postholder will work collaboratively with operational teams, commissioners, public health colleagues and partner organisations to develop and embed consistent approaches to smoking cessation support, smokefree homes interventions and referral pathways into routine practice. This will include leading workforce development initiatives, supporting staff confidence and competency in delivering Very Brief Advice (VBA) and MECC interventions, improving data quality and supporting the implementation of carbon monoxide monitoring within identified services.
