Full job description

The Temple Hall Inn is looking for a passionate, reliable, and hardworking Chef to join our friendly kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating quality food in a busy pub environment and wants to develop their skills while working alongside an experienced Head Chef.

You will work under the guidance of the Head Chef, supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing and cooking fresh meals, maintaining high food standards, and ensuring excellent hygiene and food safety practices are followed at all times.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard.
Work under the direction of the Head Chef and support the wider kitchen team.
Help with food preparation, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with all food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
Assist during busy service periods while remaining calm and organised.
Contribute positively to a friendly and supportive team environment.

What We're Looking For

Previous kitchen or chef experience is preferred.
A passion for good food and willingness to learn.
Ability to work well as part of a team and under supervision.
Good time management and attention to detail.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Experience

Experience is desirable but not essential. Full training can be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
