Overview
We are seeking a dedicated full time Pest Control Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest issues in residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills in pest management while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients. A valid driver’s licence and a commitment to health and safety standards are essential for this position.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify pest activity and entry points
Develop customised treatment plans based on inspection findings
Apply appropriate pest control treatments using safe and effective methods
Advise clients on preventative measures to minimise future pest issues
Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and client interactions
Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and used in accordance with health and safety regulations
Follow all environmental guidelines when handling chemicals or pesticides
Attend ongoing training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices

Skills

Proven experience or strong interest in pest control or related fields
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to explain procedures clearly to clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to chemical handling and pest management is advantageous
