Talocher School are recruiting for a Housekeeper / Cleaner to join our team. We are looking for passionate people to make sure our site is safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school site.

About the school:

Talocher School offers a broad and balanced curriculum, aligned to the Curriculum for Wales (CfW). Building trust, individual resilience, emotional regulation and communication skills is central to our ethos. We provide a caring and supportive learning environment for learners with ASD, ADHD and other associated Additional learning Needs (ALN).

Talocher School has on onsite therapeutic Forest School provision, as well as Art and creative play therapy. We also have access to offsite vocational provisions which include, hair and beauty, construction and small animal care.

Main duties:

Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
Ensures that Aspris minimum standards are delivered in all areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
Adopt new services that are already introduced within the group
Use equipment efficiently, in order to gain a greater value for money
