Overview

Join our team as a Vehicle Technician, at a family business called Hereford Motor Group we are main dealers for KGM (formerly Ssangyong) and Main Dealers for Mitsubishi.

Duties

Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Conduct thorough safety inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
Heavy lifting of vehicle components or parts safely and efficiently as required
Keep detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and repair procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders and high-quality workmanship

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with a passion for automotive technology
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a busy workshop setting
Prior experience working as a vehicle technician or in a related automotive role is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated on the latest vehicle technologies

Manufacturer Training is available for KGM and Mitsubishi, and you will have support from team members.
