Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organised, and welcoming. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including brushing floors, cleaning walls, power washing and production lines.
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
Follow health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleaning.
Ensure that all areas are left in a clean and orderly condition at the end of each shift.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing attention.
Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
