Job Title: Dental Receptionist
Location: New Life Teeth Edinburgh
Hours: 41.5 hours per week (Full-time)
Practice Type: Fully Private Dental Implant Clinic

About the role

We are seeking a polished, organised and personable Front of House / Receptionist to join our fully private dental implant clinic in Edinburgh.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, creating a warm and professional welcome while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing implant clinic as we prepare to relocate to our brand-new, purpose-built facility at Hermiston Quay in October 2026.

What you’ll be doing

Welcoming patients and visitors with exceptional customer service.
Managing appointments, recalls and diary coordination.
Handling incoming calls, emails and patient enquiries.
Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records.
Supporting clinicians and the wider team with administrative tasks.
Ensuring the reception area remains professional, calm and organised at all times.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in healthcare, dental or medical reception is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A confident, professional and empathetic manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
Proficiency with computer systems and appointment software.
A team-focused attitude with a commitment to high standards of patient care.
