**Hiring Event Staff for the Summer Season**

**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of patrons and premises during the bustling summer season. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment, monitoring activities, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position is essential for upholding safety standards and preventing incidents across various venues.

**Responsibilities**

- Conduct thorough surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity and identify potential threats.

- Manage access control by verifying IDs, screening individuals, and ensuring only authorized persons enter the venue.

- Prevent loss and theft through vigilant observation and prompt intervention when suspicious behavior is detected.

- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure a safe environment for all patrons.

- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary.

- Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age restrictions and dress codes.

- Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security concerns or incidents.

- Complete detailed incident reports as required, ensuring accurate documentation of events.

**Skills**

- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques to effectively oversee premises.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing challenging situations professionally.

- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail for identifying suspicious activity or potential hazards.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and patrons.

- First aid certification is advantageous for immediate response to medical emergencies.

- A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential for employment.

- Candidates must have an active SIA Door Supervisor licence and possess strong English language skills, both spoken and comprehension.

- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and effectively manage crowd control duties.
