Everun currently provides a range of services to the wind energy sector including turbine monitoring, maintenance and servicing, asset and financial management services and bespoke software monitoring tools developed in-house via a sister company. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our existing Wind turbine Service & Maintenance teams.
This role would suit both experienced wind turbine technicians and experienced technicians from adjacent sectors seeking a move into the renewable energy industry.
Please note that these roles are based at a site in the Argyle & Bute area. Although some travel within Scotland will be required, as well as occasional travel to NI this is not a travelling role. Therefore, candidates must live within a commutable distance of the site.
Main duties and responsibility:
· Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance of Wind Turbines to the highest standards, including regular servicing schedules to OEM standards.
· Identifying, diagnostics, troubleshooting and resolution of faults
· Achieve a high first-time-fix rate
· Participate in main component replacement/repair (gearboxes, generators, etc.)
· Advise on the requirements and specification for replacement parts
· Form an integral part of the on-call team
Work with the on-site teams, including client representatives, to address service & maintenance issues and drive overall turbine performance.
· Communicate with control centre personnel regularly and effectively
· Ensure all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner
· Assist with production and verification of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
· Ensure PPE, tools and Vehicles are maintained to highest standards

Essential Criteria:
· A minimum of one year's experience in a relevant engineering focused role eg electrical, mechanical, heavy vehicle/plant servicing
Strong technical aptitude (focus on electric-mechanical) with solid problem-solving skills
· Ability to perform effectively within a team, strong interpersonal skills
· The ability to meet and adhere to strict deadlines
· High level of physical fitness
· Flexible working approach (comfortable working on-call including some weekends)
· Ability to read and work from plans, schematics, and spec sheets
· Ability to understand and adhere to RAMS and AWP’s
· Good general understanding of Health & Safety at work requirements
· Full UK Driving license
Desirable Criteria:
· SCQF Level 6/ RQF Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering / electrical / mechanical subject
experience working on Wind Turbines
· Good level of IT skill including Microsoft Office
