Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service while ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of passengers. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive environment for all passengers.

Duties

Safely operate a bus, ensuring the safe transport of passengers to their designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, ensuring their safety at all times.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for operating a bus.
Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with passengers and team members.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanour under pressure while managing time effectively.
A commitment to safety and customer service excellence is essential.
