Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Audiologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ quality of life through specialised audiological care. The position is paid and requires a professional approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong foundation in medical sciences.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and balance evaluations for patients across diverse age groups.
Diagnose auditory and vestibular conditions based on clinical findings and patient history.
Develop personalised treatment plans, including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or recommending medical referrals when necessary.
Provide counselling to patients and their families regarding hearing health, device usage, and rehabilitation strategies.
Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and organisational policies.
Stay informed about advancements in audiology technology and techniques through ongoing professional development.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.

Skills

Strong knowledge of physiology related to auditory and vestibular systems.
Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to audiology and general healthcare.
Solid understanding of human anatomy, particularly the structures involved in hearing and balance functions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to patients of all ages.
Organised with attention to detail for accurate record keeping and assessment documentation.
