NY Highways are looking for Street Sweeper Drivers to help maintain the roads, streets and public spaces in and around Skipton,North Yorkshire, making them clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.
This is more than just a driving role. It’s an opportunity to play a key part in delivering an essential front-line service that local residents, businesses and visitors rely on every day.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive and operate LGV road sweeping vehicles
- Clean streets, pathways and public spaces
- Carry out tasks such as litter picking, bin emptying and weed removal
- Support winter maintenance, emergencies and environmental response
- Opportunity to develop skills in highway maintenance and support the wider team when required
- Work safely as part of a supportive local team

- HGV Class C licence + Driver CPC
- Experience working outdoors
