Job Summary: The Norwich Lab Manager will be responsible for managing the repair and calibration services for electrical and temperature equipment. This role involves leading a team of technicians and Lab Admin, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of repair and calibration technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Service Management: Oversee the repair and calibration processes, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery to meet customer expectations.

Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure all services meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring effective problem resolution.

Employee Engagement : Enhance employee engagement by fostering open communication and recognizing contributions to drive motivation and retention. Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions to understand and address employee needs & recognize achievements

Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

Compliance: Ensure all repair and calibration activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements (e.g., ISO17025).

Inventory Management: Oversee the management of tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory to support repair and calibration activities.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures.
